The MetroPass is the EFCC Transit's universal fare system. Unlike some fare systems, our fare is a flat price which means that one set price for all of our mass transit. We don't believe in a dozen prices to get from point A to point B.

Fare prices

Our system is very affordable.

One-Way (Non-Reloadable) 64 One-Way Trips (Reloadable)
$1.00 $10.00

NOTE: ALL FARES ARE A FLAT PRICE. It's $1.00 to get around anywhere in the city!

Types of Cards

There are two types of MetroPass. There is the Single Journey MetroPass, which is for 1-way trips and the Multi-Trip MetroPass, which is our reloadable 64-trip card. The Multi-Trip card can be refilled at any ticket machine.

Purchase Methods

The MetroPass can be bought in two ways. They can be bought from a ticket booth or a MetroPass vending machine.

Ticket Booths

Some subway stations, i.e 43rd Street Station have ticket booths that are staffed with an agent where you can purchase any MetroPass.

MetroPass Ticket Machines

MetroPass Vending Machine

A MetroPass can be bought in every station, whether it's an EFCC Subway station or a SkyFlight Tramway station. These machines allow you to buy any MetroPass along with refilling Multiple Trip cards and refunding your Multiple Trip card. The MetroPass vending machines used to require tokens along with your monetary payment to work. As of September, 2016, MetroPass vending machines do not require tokens to work. It is now an optional feature that is slowly being phased out. All machines accept cash, coins and credit.

Neighborhood MetroPass Vendors

A MetroPass can also be purchased from dedicated shops located throughout the city. These shops can sell you all MetroPass cards and also they can refill them and refund them on-site. You can also buy a reduced fare version (Regular card sold at lower price) of the cards in these shops too.

MetroPass Bus and Van

The EFCC Transit is experimenting with a MetroPass bus and van to allow suburban communities access to a MetroPass vendor. These vehicles will travel around the city and park in a spot for about a day to allow people to go and buy a MetroPass repetitively close to home without having to go downtown to buy a card for use on the EFCC Transit systems.

Buying and managing your MetroPass

To buy your card, you need to find a ticket machine, which there are several located in every station. To use a ticket machine, click a sign that looks like this:

The sign you click to open GUI.

Once you click that sign, a GUI will open. The GUI will look something like this:

MetroPass buying and management GUI.

Inside that GUI there are many options. To buy a card click either Blue wool to buy a MetroPass the Yellow wool is to manage your card such as checking the balance and refilling it. The Red wool is to refund your MetroPass for it's full value.
