EFCC Transit is EXPLODING Freedom Central City (EFCC)'s Transportation Company, and often marked as EFCC Transit (EFCCT). It runs the city-state's railway networks, roadways, interstate highways, taxis, buses, and other forms of transportation around the city.

History

EFCC Transit began operations on October 17th, 1945. EFCC Transit was formed to combine all of EFCC's transportation companies into one large company and to address many nation-wide transport problems in EFCC. In 1980, EFCCT took control of Commuter Rail from Conrail, a large consolidation of many of the nation's collapsing railways. In 1990, the EFCCT obtained 50 Ex-PRR MP54 Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) for use in InterCity Rail, and used them until 2014, where new an order of 100 new ABB-Built Charger High-Speed EMUs made the EFCCT retire the old MP54 sets. In 2016, EFCC bought 20 new 3-Car Tier II Charger EMUs, for high-speed Inter-City travel between select destinations.

Governance

The Leader of EFCC appoints a seven-member Board of Directors, four members from the general public and three State officials. The Governor has veto power on decisions made by the board.

Current Operations

EFCCT's operations are divided into six classes: metro, taxi, InterCity, commuter rail, light rail, and bus. These classes are designated by a separate corporate name. For bus, its EFCC Transit Bus Operations, for rail it's EFCC Transit Rail Operations, for the metro, its the EFCC Subway, for InterCity Rail its EFCC InterCity, for taxi its EFCC Taxi, and for light rail it uses AMD Transit. These transit forms operate throughout the city and stop at many select places.

Projects

The EFCCT has done many projects to improve and make the EFCCT better.

Current Projects:

The EFCCT has an ongoing project to improve the Main Line, which is currenly used for freight, and will be used as an Inter-City passenger line once the improvements are made. Another project is the 7 City expansion which brings the 7 Street Subway line down to the EFCC Shopping Center, where you can transfer to the EFCC InterCity lines. Also it will be the first station in the EFCCT System, to have Platform Screen Doors, and other forms of automation, unlike the rest of the system. The latest project in the EFCCT is the construction of the J/Z lines and the future 4 and 5 lines.

Canceled Projects:

The only canceled project in the EFCCT System is the EFCCT "L" or Elevated Line. This line was canceled due to the tight spaces in city streets and possible ruining of the city-scape's picturesque structures. This project has been reincarnated as the E Line
